Article I: Club Name
The name of this club is Pure Country 4-H Club
Article II: Meetings

Regular club meetings will be scheduled monthly on the 1st Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Hernando Christian Academy. There will be educational field trips and meetings scheduled throughout the year as well.

The club meetings will include a business meetings and an educational program.
The club members will vote on major decisions 51% of those present must be in favor of the decision for the decision to pass.

A child must be at least 5 years old by September 1 of the current year and not have passed their 19th birthday or graduated from high school. We will not discriminate against any youth wanting to join our club.

·No talking on phone during meetings
·Raise your hand and wait to be recognized before speaking
·Stay in your seats do not run around the room while the meeting is taking place

Article VI: Point System

Points will be earned by club members for meeting attendance, fund raisers, or other
4-H activities. Points will be applied as follows:
Fundraising Events will count 60% of point total.
Meeting Attendance will count 40% of point total.
Other 4-H Events will earn extra 2 points.
When expenses are to be paid out for 4H members (i.e.: field trips, tshirts, etc) at the point and time when the money is to be expended the points will be calculated to determine the percentage of the expense that the club will pay. The club will only provide t-shirts for primary members of the club.
90 - 100 points = 100% expenses paid
80 - 90 points = 80% expenses paid
70 - 80 points = 65% expenses paid
60 - 70 points = 50% expenses paid
50 - 60 points = 40% expenses paid
40 - 50 points = 30% expenses paid
30 - 40 points = 20% expenses paid
20 - 30 points = 10% expenses paid
0 - 20 points = 0% expenses paid
Note: we realize that you may be involved in other activities such as school clubs, sports, etc. If any of these events conflict with one of our meetings or fundraising activities please see your club leader or club co-leader, prior to the event, so that we are aware and you will be given credit for the activity.

All club members will be enrolled in at least one project of their choice and turn in at least one project book to earn their year pin.
Article IX: Officers

Elections of officers will take place prior to the start of the new 4-H year (July of each year).
- Only current members are eligible to run for an officer position
- Members choosing to run for an office must have their parent's approval
·Those wanting to run for an office must be prepared to give a brief speech as to why they
want to run for an office.
- Those wanting to run for an office should be aware of the requirements of that office and
be willing to fulfill the obligations of that office.
- If a vacancy occurs during the year, members will vote on a replacement.
- If an officer does not fulfill the obligations of their office, they will be removed and a
replacement voted in.
- If an officer misses two officer meetings or three regular club meetings within the 4-H year,
they will be removed from their office and new member voted in.
Eligibility to run for office:
•Must have been in club for at least 1 full year.
•Must have attended 75% of all events for the previous year (meetings/fundraisers/hands to larger service, etc.)
•Must submit in writing before the election that they are interested in running for an officer position and why. Both the youth and parent must sign off (Note: Only those who submit an interest letter are eligible to run for an office)
Requirements to Stay in office or to be re-elected to an office the following 4-H Year:
•Must carry out the duties of their office
•Must have completed all project books for the projects they signed up for including the officer book for the office they hold or be ineligible to run for an officer position next year
•Must have lead at least one activity at monthly meeting (officer plans, organizes, and presents)
•Must maintain an attendance ration of 75% of all events for the current year (meetings/fundraisers/hands to larger service, etc.)
•Must participate in County Events for the current year
Can be removed from office for the following:
•Not leading at least one activity at monthly meeting (officer plans, organizes, and presents)
•Missing 2 officer meetings or 3 Regular Meetings
•Not carrying out the duties of their office
•Not maintaining an attendance ration of 75% of all events for the current year (meetings/fundraisers/hands to larger service, etc.)
•Not participating in County events
Note: if removed from office, member will not be eligible to run for an office position again until after two full 4-H years.

·If this club disbands, all assets will be turned over to the County 4-H Foundation or Extension Office. Any club materials will be returned to the County Extension Office/4-H Agent.
